How to reach us conveniently by train and bus
There are many ways to enjoy a relaxed and sustainable journey to the Hubertus holiday hotel – whether you are travelling by car, train or bus. Our hotel is centrally located in Neukirchen am Großvenediger, in the heart of the Wildkogel Arena and the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Arriving by train
The most convenient train connection takes you directly to the ‘Mittersill’ stop. From there, please change to the bus. Please call us in advance and we will pick you up at the bus stop with your luggage.
Our bus stops in Neukirchen:
- Neukirchen – town centre
- Neukirchen - Dürnbach
The distance to the hotel is the same from both stops.
Arriving by bus
The nearest bus stop is ‘Neukirchen Ort’, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel. In addition to the local lines, there are also fast regional buses in Pinzgau, which are ideal for a comfortable journey or day trips:
- Buses run regularly from Mittersill to Neukirchen (journey time approx. 25 minutes).
- There are direct express connections from Zell am See via Mittersill to Neukirchen (journey time approx. 1 hour).
- In winter, the ski bus takes you right to the hotel door – perfect for those who want to start their day of skiing without a car.

Arrival by plane
If you prefer to travel by plane, you can reach the Hubertus holiday hotel via several airports in the surrounding area. Thanks to regular bus and train connections as well as convenient shuttle services, the onward journey to Neukirchen am Großvenediger is very straightforward and comfortable.
Salzburg Airport (120 km)
Public transport runs regularly from Salzburg Airport to the Wildkogel Arena. Of course, you can also travel comfortably with the transport shuttle or hire a car yourself at the airport. The journey time from Salzburg Airport is approximately 2 hours.
Innsbruck (100 km), Munich (Franz-Josef-Strauß - 206 km)
Travelling from other airports is also no problem.
- Munich – travel time approx. 3 hours
- Innsbruck – travel time approx. 2 hours

Compulsory vignette
In Austria, vignettes are compulsory for cars and motorbikes on all motorways and dual carriageways. Vignettes (for 10 days, 2 months or 1 year) are available at one of over 6000 sales points in and outside the country and may also be purchased digitally.
Our tip: Coming from Munich, the motorway section in the Kufstein area is exempt from the vignette.
